Within the Shiba Sequoia Forest, our purpose is to harness the power of music as a unifying force, rallying communities and advocating for safeguarding Sequoia trees. This endeavor is pursued through creating and selling digital assets showcasing music inspired by these majestic giants. Our primary goal is to bolster conservation initiatives and enlighten individuals about the criticality of preserving these natural marvels for posterity. Violetta Zironi is an Italian born and raised singer songwriter and actress. She is currently based in Berlin. After being signed to a major label at the age of 18 for 2 years, she became a full time independent artist and spent the following 7 years touring, writing songs and releasing records. Joe Rian (Ryan) was adopted as an infant and raised in Rock Falls, Illinois. He sings tavern songs, beer-soaked and road-worn.
Rian moved out of the Midwest after flunking out of college and scraped by working multiple minimum wage grinds. His main gig was sweating away at a gold and silver refinery on the west side of Phoenix, AZ. Other jobs included telemarketing, pouring concrete, releasing and then chasing hot air balloons, moving appliances, and a very short stint collecting outstanding debts for characters you might find on a once-popular TV series.
In 1989, he won an American Stratocaster signed by Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan via a radio contest. Then, pure chance found him at the last ever SRV concert.
After moving to Chicago, he worked at Buddy Guy’s Legends and busked the streets of the “Windy City.”
While Joe Rian is not a strict Bluesman, he is a songwriter who likes to stir the sounds of Roots, Country and Folk into a nice pot of musical soup. His songs are best consumed in your local tavern.
Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Nessy has been rapping since the age of 8. Rae Isla is an independent singer-songwriter and pioneer in the WEB3 music space, having sold over 1,200 Music NFTs and attended conferences around the world to present her music. Classically trained in cello, then studying voice and business at Berklee College of Music, Rae launched her career as an indie musician in Brooklyn, New York, collaborating on early releases with producer Gianluca Buccelati (Lana Del Rey, Arlo Parks). She went on to self-produce and release her first EP while becoming a staple in NYC’s indie live music scene, frequenting clubs like Rough Trade and SoHo House. Rae’s music has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Complex, and more. Her debut album “Another Life” was the 27th most added record in the world on the NACC Charts. Rae is now based in her hometown of Seattle, Washington, and is gearing up to release her sophomore album while traveling to perform, advise music platforms, and build a local and global community of true music fans.
Taylor Alexander Carruthers began writing/performing his songs on acoustic guitar at age 16. He became the lead guitarist in his sister’s band (Mia Carruthers & the Retros) with their debut EP We Will Grow reaching #24 on the iTunes Pop charts, featured on MTV’s Taking the Stage in 2010. Embarking on his solo career in 2012, Taylor independently released four EP’s and three singles to date. Played over 1,500 live performances including a six year stint in Los Angeles but is now based in Austin, Texas. Notable venues include Spotify NYC, Google LA (x4) and the main stage at Denver’s Mile High Fest 2018 & 2019, the first public outdoor cannabis festival in the US. Notable shared bills include Trevor Hall, Mia Carruthers, Dylan Dunlap, Tavia, Rebecca Rego, Lil Wayne, Lil’ Jon & Bob Marley’s band, The Wailers. On March, 19th 2021, just 18 days after minting his first NFT… Taylor became the 1st ever live performer on The Nifty Show. Essentially thrusting him into the metaverse/NFT space! My name is Krp (K Ramachandra Prabhu), and I am a musician from Bharat or India. I have been learning Indian Classical Music for the past 6-8 years and it has been quite a journey. Having grown up listening to Western music, I now try to bridge the East and the West in my music. My country is a melting pot of cultures and languages. A beautiful Kaleidoscope of classical dance forms, varying styles of music, more than 100 unique languages, and a billion people. The English education my dad put me through ensured that the general fabric of backstreet boys, Linkin Park & John Mayer was always on wherever I went. The shift in the way I sense and create music however happened when I was in my mid-twenties, as I went deeper into Yoga and meditation. I hope the melodies you hear from me delight you as the sun rises and keeps you company when the sun sets.

MunkyB grew up in a military family and had the opportunity, through family and work, to see many parts of the world. She holds both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees specializing in Environmental Health Management, Aviation, Law Enforcement, and Business. She is a retired federal law enforcement officer as well as a former business owner and has studied the Web 3.0 space since 2020. Through following and assisting independent musicians with their careers in Web 3.0, she found and eventually became part of the Shiba Sequoia Forest team.
